Members can participate in a packet circuit which covers Preston and the surrounding area.

Packets of philatelic material are circulated through Society members on different circuits and the circuits are also reversed so that members have an equal chance of receiving newly issued packets.

Purchasing items through the packet is a good way of filling gaps in your collection with a wide range of material on offer including GB, Commonwealth, foreign (old to modern), thematics and covers. Most of the items are priced competitively.

Collectors sometimes accumulate a substantial number of duplicates and unwanted material, and the packet offers a good way of selling some off to fellow members.

The Society receives a small commission based on its total yearly spend on items from the packet sold to its members; this is added to Society funds.

The rules and guidance for members on participating in the packet circuit are currently under review and will be published here once finalized.
