Colombia and its States
Chris Jackson updated members on his recent work with his Colombia stamp collection and provided some background on the country and its challenges. Of particular interest was the overview of the individual states within Colombia who operated their own postal services and issued postage stamps between 1869 and the early 1900s; these were supposedly only valid for postage within the state which issued the stamps.
