1887 -1892 The 50th Anniversary of the Regency of Queen Victoria – the ‘Jubilee definitive issues’ were the first Great Britain two-coloured stamps.

Written by Malcolm Mynott and published in 1986 by the Society on its 50th Anniversary. Covers the period from the Civil War up to 1902.

About Us

If you are interested in stamps or postal history, we can assure you of a warm welcome at the City of Preston Philatelic Society (COPPS), which meets twice monthly on a Thursday in Preston.

We have regular speakers on a wide and fascinating range of both philatelic and more general topics.

We hold competitions and auctions; we host an Annual Fair and Summer and Xmas social events; in summary – a friendly society who always welcome new members. Please feel free to come along.
